Further to EmIS 195/2026, the designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that road blockades are currently hindering traffic flows to and from the regions of Calabria, Campania, Lazio, Liguria, Puglia and Sicily. Consequently, Poste Italiane is unable to guarantee the regular delivery of mail and parcels, and nationwide delays are anticipated as a result of circumstances beyond its control. Furthermore, parcel collection services have been suspended in the provinces of Caserta, Catania, Catanzaro, Naples (excluding the city of Naples) and Syracuse. Poste Italiane will strive to restore normal services as soon as road conditions allow. Poste Italiane apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding. It will keep them updated via EmIS.
